Review Soprano Supersession Mouthpieces E and F
Both mouthpieces I have tested on the sound character, playability regarding air resistance and even tone characteristics over the whole instrument register. The used sheet was a Rigotti Gold 2 1/2, which I have imported on my S7 Vandoren V16 mouthpiece.
Sound Character: The Muntücke sound both relatively radiant with a sound for the Sopransaxophon (my Selmer MK6) pleasant (not too shrill). Playability: The resistance of the mouthpieces is perhaps too heavy for the two orbits of the two mouthpieces. Sound Character: Here, both mouths were equally good, there was no difference in sound character throughout the whole register.
In summary, The mouthpieces are recommended. However, several should be tested, since the production batches can always be different. Search, search, search until the ah experience is there.
