Schlagwerk BRC 04 Cajon Brush #4, Martin Röttger, Single brush, ergonomic wood handle, nylon bristles, The Martin Röttger Signature brush delivers a completely different kind of brush experience. This is a Cajon brush which enables limitless sweeping and a lovely, warm bass sound. Handling and playing are intuitive - the combination of hand and brush allows for completely new Cajon grooves.
I bought this brush after much reflection. I wanted to buy the stick brush by schlagwerk originally but after thinking about it well I chose this one. In ergonomic terms this is a great piece of equipment that put no strain on your wrists, problem I have with stick-brushes. It also adds a nice bass tone to my cajon when playing. It is also very well built! I expected it to be a little bit smaller but the size ain't a big issue as I got used to it quite fast! Overall this brush is very good! I would gladly suggest it to anyone willing to buy one! Great quality of material as well
This brush, although at first glance it looks like a piece of equestrian equipment, actually works pretty well at giving you a bassy, percussive sound. It's nothing particularly special, and you probably won't find yourself reaching for it all the time, but it's a good tool to have in your percussive arsenal. The brush is fairly stiff, with a soft sound (not scratchy).
