Love this one, I was afraid to buy it, but now it fits like a glove
It's a performance mouthpice, and you will have a lot of power and not fattiging, however not a main mouthpiece to study, because you WILL lose endurance. Not the most flexible one that I used, and the lows are tiny

Test Trompetenmundstück für Lead in der Bigband

Ich verwende Mundstücke durchschnittlicher Größe entsprechend etwa Bach 3C.
Da ich seit einiger Zeit Lead in der Bigband spiele, suche ich nach einem Mundstück, mit dem hohe Töne leichter zu spielen sind. Das Schilke 14A4A ist ziemlich flach, was die Höhe erleichtert, gleichzeitig hat es aber noch einen relativ großen Durchmesser, wie ich es von meinem alten Mundstück gewohnt bin.
Für mich funktioniert es mit diesem Mundstück allerdings nicht so gut: die Höhe geht gewiß besser, man kann leichter laut spielen und dringt sehr gut durch, was für Leadtrompete natürlich auch wichtig ist, aber ich konnte mich bislang noch nicht an den flacheren Kessel gewöhnen. Vermutlich dauert es einfach länger, bis man den Ansatz auf so ein flaches Mundstück umstellen kann.
Für mich funktioniert das Schilke 14A4A also momentan nicht, aber das muß jeder selbst ausprobieren.
