A
Schaller to go!

I bought these as a replacement for my Fender Wayne Kramer RT acoustic guitar, which had an awful factory set, and had one of the small cogs broken. First of all, there are not really many options out there for tuner sets, and after this purchase I do not wonder why...anymore. Absolutely perfect fit to the described dimensions, when I opened the packaging I was stunned of the materials and quality of the gear closures and the buttons, the shafts are really engineered to 1/100 of a mm. Every angle, every aspect, every component of these tuners is fantastic. The gear ratio was also better than the original (I don't know the original exactly), it has more feel, it is really smooth, but still tight and locks really well. It was also a massive boost to the overall looks of my guitar, the nickel finish is a nice touch, every time, anyone sees it the first question is "wow what are those? is that stock?". I'm quite sure that the resonance and the tone of my guitar improved after installing these, I'm also positive that these fit better than most of the stock acoustic tuner shafts on any guitar, so nothing wrong here, you can't pick any better than this.

BH
unreliable tuning
Boyan Hristov 09.07.2023
I bought 2 sets of these tuners. I don't like the tuning stability, and one of the tuners is defective - you turn and turn and nothing happens, then there's a pinging and the string goes way out of tune. I wrote thomann and they asked me for a video to sent to their specialists, then they said they can't open the dropbox link I sent them with the video, then I uploaded it to YouTube (unlisted) and sent them the link, but they didn't care to watch it, then asked me something about the size of the tuners, to which I just looked at what the page of the product says in the specs, and referred them to it... After a few emails of back and forth they went silent and I know they don't take the issue to heart. I waited a couple of weeks then emailed them asking what they intent to do. I was told a replacement was sent, but there was no tracking number or any shipping information and I never received anything. This is the firs time Thomann have dropped the ball.

TOP QUALITY

Just about the best out there, these vintage style butter bean tuners are super accurate, engineered to the highest standard, and function absolutely perfectly. Way better than Grover or Gotoh…. Both of which are fine products in themselves. In terms of overall quality, as good as a set of USA Waverleys…… but at about a third of the price. Highly recommended.
