My perfect mic.

Perfect! I bought this mic to my trumpet for use in acoustically difficult acoustic conditions / to avoid acoustic feedback (which I sometimes get when I play with ordinary kondesator mic.) I mounted my Rumberger mic on the tuning slide. The result was fantastic. I was initially going to use the mic. guitar effects (distrutionwa-wa ..) but also the pure acoustic sound is picked up very well. Check my website .. **********. I really recommend Runbergermik. Also for brass instruments. (The marnadsförs the most woodwinds). For trombone can be put in the nozzle. There is also a basson player who drilled hole in her nice expensive Hackel Basson for a Round Berger mic. With absolutely fantastic result.

Now it is December 2014 and my Rumberger mic is just as amazing as the first place. I have clearly underestimated and not until now taken it to take up the "pure" acoustic trumpet sound very good. On the 'chill out gigs, "church concerts" and similar where I might just use some Deley and reverb, making it perfect. I really recommend this microphone. If you are trumpeter bought an extra tuning slide and mount on Rumbergermik.

Great pickup - and not only for woodwinds!

This "clarinet" pickup works great on trombone, too! Probably fine on any brass instrument from trumpet to tuba, if you're not afraid to drill a little hole in your tuning slide. I mainly use it with my pedalboard, but it's acceptable for a clean sound as well, unless a really, really natural sound is required. Just spend a little time tweaking your EQ and add a little reverb. Your sound engineer will be super happy having absolute zero feedback issues with your horn.
