Very good performance and studio mixer
Ettore2000, 12.11.2020
I bought this mixer in order to use it as the central audio interface of my bedroom studio setup, because I use a lot of hardware gear.
It is very very powerful.

The integration with DAWs is flawless, no significant problems there.
The Mx-1 is a great tool not only for the many inputs (all available as audio-in/out channels for separate audio recordings) but also for the vast range of onboard effects, both master, applied to all tracks, and "tone", applied to a single track.
It truly will elevate your productions, much more than a simple mixer.

The three usb-host ports are really useful as they enable you to connect a vast range of AIRA (Roland) gear, which I do own.
Having audio, midi and also power go thought only a usb cable is a real time and clutter saver!!

It is very performance oriented, it will make you WANT to mix your tracks. To understand it fully I highly recommend looking up a good tutorial on YouTube, and believe me, the hype is real!!!

Excellent.. but could be better?
Kriszic, 12.04.2021
Usb channels are great but we need more usb port in 2021 ;)
The digital port may be used but need to find an a/d converter
Analog ports can be noisy if you put your master/out level too high so (just need to take care when setup but that’s not different to many analog products)
It is a very handy little mixer with a tons of usages and very simple to use. Perfect to have fun with it ! I loved it immediately after 5 minutes !

Performance mixer is the description
Bjanko, 09.02.2020
I use MX-1 with Ableton.
Its a very versatile tool, fun to play with and it sound good.
With built in beat and master effects, it makes mixing easy and versatile
I would love if faders were a bit bigger and if master effects were user configurable.
Overall, great mixer for multiple analog/digital hardware/software setup. Happy I got it!

ROLAND MX-1 REVIEW
Gerard1982, 06.01.2016
This is a must have for anyone looking to do live performance. On receiving my order i found the mx-1 to be well packaged and in a really cool retro looking box the unit is of solid build quality with metal face plate and hard plastic sides and bottom the rubber feet under the unit make it stick nicely to any surface with very little movement. the mx-1 is very easy to set up i had my updates, drivers and firmware done in a matter of minutes having bought the rest of AIRA range it all links up perfectly without any hassle to rest of my equipment this unit is packed with features and the master effects are really cool as well hooking it up to DAW took only minutes and been able to use it as a midi controller to it really good having 18inputs and 18 outputs routed threw any daw through usb i would highly recommend this to anyone for live or studio work
