Wow, what an AWSOME bit of kit ?. After using the rubber pad on double peddles for 6 months the transition was good, the feedback to your feet from a skin is amazing. Pricey but you get what u pay for nowadays.. I love it!!

Have me the kickpad to my TD15-KV as "upgrade" of the contained KD-9 is ordered. On the other hand, the trigger area on the KD-9 is really small for double-pedal - and if the two beaters are not exactly centered, there is a different trigger feeling left / right.
Well the KD-120BK is as usual in top Roland quality processed, stands incredibly solid, looks great. The game feeling is "almost" genuine, and definitely better than the KD-9.
I think with the available adjustment possibilities every pedal should be mounted. I use Direct-Link pedals, and had to tilt the MeshHead slightly so that the pedal of the pedal goes out ...
Still on the topic of room noise (neighbors) The KD-120BK is, however, quieter than the KD-9, but would not say that one should get only from this motif the KD-120BK. So I do not feel the difference. (Because rather build a console, and eliminate the kick sound)
