Absolute top class!

Magman, 06.09.2015
I am a so-called Reberb-Junky and had already done everything before the feet what Hall;)
I prefer Spring Reverb sounds as you can find them with good 7ender amps such as Vibro King, Twin or Deluxe reverb. My ear, so to say, has been pampered and shaped for a long time.
This boing pedal has not only a funny name, it is also very simple built with only a single regulator. Twell and Tone are searched in vain. This extra-large control knob controls the intensity, ie the reverb effect and no longer. With the foot you can use this button prima.
The input / output and power supply sockets are located on the back. Well done, that saves space on the board again if one uses one.
Even when unpacking, you also notice the particularly robust and accustomed quality of the Rockett pedals with the Boing. The Boing is small, but weighs as much as two or even three comparable pedals of this size. Professionally built for rough stage use.

But now butter with the fish! What can it do?

I connected the small Hall pedal before my 7ender Two Tone and enjoyed the good reverb of this combos. This then deactivated and the Boing switched on with regulator on 1 clock. Wowwwwwwwwwww me has blown it without exaggeration smoothly. Really good and full of spring reverb sound with a warmth and depth like a good deluxe. So I had not really expected the pedal.

I bought it for my H & K Puretone Combo good Hall. So connected and the amp not recognized again. Even if the Amp goes into the moderate saturation (it is a Plexi) the Hall still sounds good. I had not heard that sound from any other pedal. The Hall portion has a very large control range and sounds full on still very good. Then Surfmusiker and pistol carriers feel pudelwohl. I found my favorite setting at about 2 o'clock.

Conclusion:

The Boing is worth every single cent. If you are looking for authentic, first-class Spring Reverb, you will find it here in the finest sound quality!

Simple and effective

Eduard439, 16.05.2017
It is certainly a simple pedal. He recently did it well. Perfect for guitarists like me, we do not want to waste time looking for equalizations. If you want reverb there it is.

Up to half of the way the reverb is very soft, from the middle it becomes more remarkable, but it is always very usable. It is not a very exaggerated reverb, unless it is full, but it is still

Being a subtle reverb, I have also tested it with the amplifier saturating a bit and still well matched the sound, lowering the intensity a little.

I always have it on, it will depend on the local or the song's intensity, and it does not seem to affect the tone negatively.

Sometimes we get lost with pedals that have many options, this pedal is simple, it can be a bit expensive, but what it does does well.
