Ordinary processing with a weak point
The bag should only serve as a reasonable dust cover for the home, the advertised 5 mm padding should be sufficient. The term "upholstery" is, however, in my view not appropriate, because the 5 mm correspond approximately to the material thickness of the fabric - of upholstery so no trace. On the other hand, the 10 mm upholstery, which is still described, is present in the form of a piece sewn with the narrow side on the underside of the inner part of the pocket, exactly where the belt pin of the instrument presses when it is standing. And precisely the type of attachment is the weak point, because the cushion folds either in front of or behind the body so that the belt pin supports the entire weight of the instrument on the seam rather than on the cushion - a break point as it is in the book and reason enough For me to say: This bag is not suitable for the longer storage of an instrument!
This negligence in the design of the bag is really annoying, because the rest can be quite impressive: robust, water-repellent fabric, a sufficiently dimensioned Staufach, an easy-going and not self-opening zipper. The zipper does not reach under the instrument, but stops at about 2/3 of the body length, which makes it easy for a sudden ripping open.
The bag is only suitable for those who want to transport their bass on the seat of the author to the pro space. If you want to have a long-lasting storage option for your instrument, look for another model.
