Handy

Rory B. 463, 23.09.2015
Does what it claims to do and although long it has 3 crossover velcro straps so it will secure any transmitter bulky or small. Quality is good and for the price, what you waitin' for.

Well - it is unfortunately the only one I have found so far in which the transmitters hold however ...

Andreas, 28.07.2014
I know honestly not for what transmitter it was built and why just so ...

Well yes - let's start with the advantages:

1) It is adjustable by the horizontal and vertical mounting which can be adjusted in wide ranges and therefore very universally applicable and the transmitter can be there (assuming a certain basic size) - even in the most violent acrobatics do not fly out.

2) it is to my knowledge the only pocket at Thomann to which the first point applies

3) Processing is quite good.

4) Due to the enormous amount of material wrapped around the transmitter, it is protected against accidental crashes with the guitar stand or other objects in the way when the guitar is switched off

Well and now we come to the problems ...:

1) The thing is for all the transmitters I know just too big. They keep it in, but you could have reduced the length by 30%.

2) Packing and unpacking takes time. Three Velcro locks want to be positioned correctly. If you have the transmitter in it, you do not get him just once again quickly and pure. This is really stupid. I play with a Sennheiser SK500 - which folds you on and off (incidentally, to many Sennheiser systems too) ... Well, turn on, attach to the strings belt or pocket and no longer touch. Switch off in the break is rather a mis indication ... Only stupid when in between the battery weakens ...

3) The fastening straps are quite thick. In the case of the SK 500, this means that the HF muteswitch is no longer reasonably reachable, and the belts press on the rocker of the menu switch so that the device has to be blocked in order to prevent misoperation and on the display you can see nothing more Because the belt is over it ... Fortunately one can read the battery edge at the receiver ...

4) The attachment to the guitar strap ... I do not know which designer the thing has developed - but I can not imagine since he was ever on a stage with an electric guitar. On the one hand, the mounting slots are too narrow. I play with Levis No.1 belts. These are really not very wide - but even those do not fit through the slots. That means: you are first with a knife, and cuts the way through the thick leather free. When you have taken this hurdle and the pocket finally sits on the seat belt, you are resigned: Seat is relative. The transmitter can not fly out - the pocket can easily move back and forth on the belt - rather badly.

If I had found something better, I would have sent the thing back immediately - but unfortunately I have not found anything so far, and my belt, belt or gaffa are not a good solution. So first this emergency solution

Maybe I ask now times my girlfriend if she me what appropriate sewing ...

It seems as if transmitter pockets belong to the area of ??rocket technology. I would have never thought before that I am on radio, that it can be so complicated to find a clever fastening solution for the transmitter ...
