Necessary but bemusingly sold seperately
As far as I'm concerned this should be sold as standard with the Bass Buggy, not as an overpriced accessory! Nevertheless, it provides ample protection for one's instrument and is a necessity for any bassist negotiating curbs and/or public transport. Do however be aware of the extra few inches the padding adds to the height of the instrument when in transit, and make the appropriate adjustments when moving through doorways. Expensive as this cushion may be, it is still cheaper than having one's bass repaired.

No Complaints
The KCNC Double Bass Buggie does not come with any cushioning material that goes between the instrument and the buggie. This is that cushioning material. It is easy to attach and does the intended job.
If you, like me, are a bit dim sometimes, it is also easy to attach to the wrong side of the buggie; in this case never fear, as it turns out also to be easy to remove and to reattach in the correct place. Since the product was supplied without documentation, there is a temptation to blame the manufacturer for this, but really there was no excuse. Think before you velcro!
And enjoy your cushion.
