Could have been AMAZING, but...
Matyas S., 20.06.2016
I ordered this to use it with my tablet/phone (meaning the metronome app on it). I already have the Peterson BBS-1 BodyBeat, but I don't use it, because the vibration-function is... weak at best! I was hoping for this would be stronger. I'm a drummer, so all my limbs are moving, so a strong pulse is necessary to feel it as well/strongly as I can during playing. This does not have that strenght!
Make no mistake! The product itself is very well made, easy to handle (idiot-proof), reliable, works with every single metronome app I own or tested, etc. Just far from being strong enough! It would work perfectly if you are a singer, guitarist, bass player, or whatever. If you are a drummer... not saying it is useless, but... can't recommend it!
For the price, it is basicaly free, so the only problem is: this is not for drummers.

Interesting, but somewhat too expensive
10.06.2016
I vary in the rating between 3 and 4 stars, but in the end it makes what it promises. 39¤ are something much, for that it vibrates "only".

If the first impressions confirm (from the perspective of a drummer) that the concept works better than an audible click, I will probably also test the Soundbrenner Pulse when it is available. It is much more relaxed, you do not have to try to level out click and tape on the headphones, which is always something difficult for me. Instead of penetrantem click in the ear, one has the ears free for his fellow musicians. In the case of acoustic samples or performances without monitors / headphones, one has an inconspicuous and easy way to play with Click.

Processing is solid plastic, and stays where you put it. The vibration can be adjusted in two thicknesses. Without app, no accents are possible. DAW integration is not provided, but you could hang a MIDI-enabled metronome in between, or use an additional headphone output that only outputs audio clicks. In my Playalongs for the rehearsal I made a monosome of the band on the left and the audio click on the right, and then split the traktor DJ Cable onto headphones and BodyBeat. Then the smartphone is enough as a playback device. Can be synonymous thereby by routing the DAW synonymous in the Homestudio prima use, if one has only a stereo output and when recording on stereo can do without. (And the headphone is still loud enough, with me, the headphone amplifier has enough power.)

To the battery runtime I can say nothing, but was after two hours of use within 10 minutes again full.
Even the test in live environment is still outstanding.

At Recordings one would still have to test whether the vibrations can be heard with silent instruments, the BodyBeat is not soundless.
