Really Pleased

This is only my second cajon, my first being one of those DIY jobs. Everyone seems to love this cajon at open mics, it seems to my ears have a lovely thump and a fizzy snare and the finish is gorgeous. If I get another cajon, because I am loving this one so much, it will be a Pepote.

Tolle Cajon für kleines Geld

Habe bisher eine 2 in 1 gespielt. Neulich bei einem Gig bin ich auf die Pepote Jaleo aufmerksam geworden und habe mir die Kiste bestellt. Bisher war mir Pepote nur durch teure Cajons bekannt. Thomann hatte sogar schon das neuste Modell lieferbar :-)))
Die Cajon klingt toll, sieht sehr wertig aus und ist mit den Daumenmulden und abgerundeten Ecken super ergonomisch.
Klanglich hat mich die Jaleo durch die unglaublich gute Snareansprache überzeugt. Man braucht die Frontplatte nur anzutippen und schon kommt auch der gewünschte Effekt. Bei meiner alten Cajon musste man dafür schon ordentlich reinlangen. Trotzdem bleibt die Snare auch bei kräftiger Spielweise immer kontrolliert.
Überhaupt klingt die Cajon sehr spritzig und offen im direkten Vergleich, gar nicht so nach Holzkiste.
Der Bass ist stimmig, eher straff, und eignet sich sehr gut zur Abnahme. Wer mehr Bass will dreht mehr rein, im Gegensatz zu meiner alten Cajon muss hier nicht gedämpft werden.
Die Jaleo kann ich nur empfehlen!

Da Ich mit meinen Bands, so wie die meisten oft "nur" kleinere Bühnen zur Verfügung habe, muss es halt manchmal die Kiste tun. Die Pad Retro BR überzeugt mich, weil sie auf der Bühne genügent Bässe und Wums daherbringt und aber auch sensibel reagiert, wenn man mal die feine Klinge auspacken will.
Die Verarbeitung ist Top.
Wirklich ein tolles Teil.
