Wonderfully.......tricky
I bought it as an accent cymbal as per THOMANN sound clips and compare features (so useful!) on their web site, and I was not disappointed.
As usual, ordering and delivery is a real pleasure with THOMANN : It's nice to know that some people care......
The cymbal is exactly as expected and deliver at every level and every circumstances, cutting through any mix, sharp, beautiful wash, just perfect, however........yes, there is a "however"....it,s so dam....SMALL !! and it took some adjustment NOT to miss it !! Joke apart, it's a down side, specially during a live performance : so, yes, very good, but adjust your aim !!

Great little accent cymbal
This Paiste 4" accent cymbal has a very high pitch compared to any other bell cymbals due to its small size. I recommend mounting it upside down to make it easier to strike and piggybacking it on another cymbal to save space.
It's great for intricate patterns in quieter sections of funk or world fusion music but might not always be able to cut through as well in heavy styles unless it has a microphone.
Overall, it's a great little chime-like cymbal and for the price it's a no-brainer.

Hard to use
It's probably my own fault for not researching it enough. Lovely sound from the cymbal but probably not what I needed in my kit.
Pros: sound is nice, excellent quality cymbal (fits in your pocket too)
Cons: because of the size you can't hear it unless there's nothing else happening.
