Amazing sound, but they don't last very long.

A lot of gypsy jazz players change their strings between every concert, so it's important to find some strings that sound good, but are also cheap! My advice is to buy a whole load of cheap ones and see which ones.

I could not get through one gig without breaking one of these. Too bad, because the sound was perfect. I'm a heavy hitter, but I normally never break strings.

Il s'agit surement du meilleur compromis Son/Durée/prix dans le cadre des cordes pour guitare jazz manouche.
Le son peut paraître un peu trop brillant pour le style, mais cet effet de brillance s’atténue très vite (2 à 3 jours de jeu). Puis apparaît un son typique manouche, clair et sec, et qui dure!! contrairement à d'autres fabriquant dont les cordes "s’éteignent" au bout d'une semaine... Bien entendu, tout dépend du temps de jeu journalier! ^^
Ici j'ai pris pour une moyenne de 3h par jour. et je ne change mes cordes qu'au bout de 2 mois et demi... par ce que: la corde sol (G), comme sur les autres marques, continue à s'effiler plus rapidement que les autres.
Voilà, et tout ça pour un prix inférieur à d'autres marques plus courantes!!!

Seit vielen Jahren spiele ich auf meiner Epiphone Broadway Saiten, die speziell für die Musikrichtung "Django Reinhard/Hot Club Jazz" gefertigt worden sind.

Gegenüber einem Saitensatz für die Westerngitarre lassen sich die Optima Saiten deutlich leichter spielen. Dabei entwickelt sich ein brillanter Ton, der der Gipsyfire Musikrichtung deutlich besser entgegen kommt. Natürlich kann man auch mehr Geld ausgeben für Saitensätze anderer Hersteller, aber für mich hat sich gezeigt, dass der Saitensatz Optima Gypsyfire L 011/046 völlig ausreicht.

Das Aufziehen der Saiten mit dem System Ball Ends ist einfach. Die Seidenumspannung trägt zum speziellen Ton dieses Produktes bei. Aus meiner Sicht eine absolute Empfehlung.
