A phenomenal ocarina

I'm pretty bad at in depth reviews, but I'll try my best here because I think this ocarina deserves it. The ocarinas I own are; Songbird(Stein) Allegro, Stein ACB, and a STL Aria so I'll be comparing it to these in the review. The Asian ocarinas have a sort of a wisp to it on all notes, which is the opposite for the C3, this thing has the purest tone I've heard even on the high notes. I'm pretty sure it doesn't even need an acute bend, playing the 3 highest notes with the ocarina parallel to the ground and they come out clear as day. Breath requirement is a little more than my other Ocs. Craftsmanship is impeccable on the C3, I'm pretty sure it was made for my hands as my left pinky falls perfectly into place very comfortably. It does have a little more heft to it then my other Ocs, probably has to with it having thicker walls. I recommend this as a first oc or even as a second, third, or 12th! Shipping to the USA did make it a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. ?

All the Rotter ocarinas are, usually, very good and underpriced instruments. The Signature Series adds something more at the level of playability and high level efficiency. The C3 (Alto C) Rotter Signature Series Ocarina is one of the very few Alto C ocarinas not requiring (at all) acute bend, and gives to the player a better and more satisfactory experience than a lot of other more expensive and celebrated Alto C ocarinas from other brands. It is a top level ocarina, with a very good sound. Surely Hans Rotter is a very skilled and experienced ocarina maker who deserves admiration.

Une excellente Qualité de cet ocarina, la fabrication est très bien réalisé.
Le sont est vraiment très bon, Mais parfait à mon goût. L'expressivité, rends cet instrument attirant.

Mon gros point négatif, un manuel complet en Allemand, mais ou est le français dans tout ça ? Je trouve ça assez révoltant que le Français soit négligé. Ce-ci dit, vous trouverez sur le net plus d'infos en français.

Hervorragendes Instrument!

Ocarinaspielerin, 25.09.2018

Diese Okarina ist wunderbar ausbalanziert und hat einen sehr ansprechenden Klang. Das tiefe A braucht sehr wenig Blasdruck, sonst wird es ein Bb. Daher ist er sehr vorsichtig zu spielen. Vom tiefen Bb bis zum hohen F sind alle Töne sehr gut spielbar und klangvoll. Auch die hohen Töne klingen gut, und sind nicht schrill. Sie brauchen keinen "acute bend". Diese Okarina bringt einfach Freude. Die Anordnung der Grifflöcher ist, wie immer bei den Okarinas von Okarinamusik sehr gut greifbar. Das braun-schwarze Design und die Form sehen zudem edel aus. Zum momentanen Sonderpreis ist sie wirklich zweimal ihr Geld Wert. Rundum zufrieden!
