Dieses Dämpfungsglied sorgt dafür, dass in Verbindung mit dem Minirator MR Pro der Signal-/Rauschabstand auch bei Mikrofonpegel noch gut ist. Denn ein Reduzieren des Ausgangspegels über den Minirator hat nur zur Folge, dass das Nutzsignal leiser ausgegeben wird. Das Wandlerrauschen und das Rauschen der analogen Ausgangsstufe bleiben konstant.
Wenn der Rauschabstand des Minirator mit 96dB bei Vollaussteuerung (+18dBu) angegeben wird, so ergibt sich bei einem erzeugten Mikrofonpegel von -50dBu (=68dB unter Vollaussteuerung) ein Rauschabstand von nur noch 28dB. Und das ist deutlich vernehmbar!

Unter Verwendung dieses Steckers hätte man dann einen Rauschabstand von 68 dB. Das ist vorzüglich.

Ich habe es nachgemessen: Er ist über den ganzen Frequenzbereich linear und die Dämpfung ist exakt 40dB.
