TD
Solid and Durable Audio Connector by Neutrik
The Dragon 14.03.2018
Use:
I bought this Neutrik connector to build custom audio cables for my studio.

Pros:
The connector is of the highest quality and meets a professional standard. It feels solid and durable when connecting various audio equipment.

Cons:
The plastic cable locking system requires some customizing when used with a thicker shielded audio wire.

Conclusions:
There is a drastic difference in quality between custom audio cables made with Neutrik connectors, and other lower quality, cheap cables I have previously owned. This connector has stood the test of time and has not failed to date. I consider it a studio essential and has saved me money in the long term, as I no longer have to replace or repair cables.

M
ok, but rather wide
Metralon 13.10.2019
Decent build quality and all, but their rather thicc / wide diameter does not allow 8 of them to fit on the back of my Fireface 800 as spacing is too tight. Better go with Neutrik's thinner jack plugs.

A good stereo plug
Wallied 07.01.2014
Neutrik provides quality plugs, and this one is not an exception. It has a metal housing and a rigid construction. The Neutrik website provides good instructions to soldering, and it's an easy job to do on these plugs. One word of warning though: If you need an instrument cable, DON'T use these plugs! These are stereo (notice the two grooves on tip, mono have only one groove) and using a stereo plug prevents effects, amps and active guitars from connecting. Passive guitars will work fine though.

Decent replacement jack
Colly B 04.06.2013
This is a decent jack, though not high end. It is reasonably durable, though the plastic casing feels slightly flimsy and may not stand up to heavy abuse. The audio quality is fine though and the product would be adequate for home use.
