Generally this is a nice midi controller with some points that completely disapointed me.

The good news:
Great integration with Cubase, weighted keys, auto-moving fader (just the silver one), pads.

The bad news:
Basically, the building quality is not so good and it seems cheap but not that matters for me because I know that you always get what you pay for. The one thing that made me mad and couldn't accept it is the cheap and sticky (literally) rubber they have used for the rotating control knobs, the faders and the wheels.

Dust is an absolute enemy for my equipment and I always try to keep my gear like new. That' s not happened with that product because in the first attempt to clean it (with it's own Nectar cloth) I realized that the skicky rubber parts gather even more dust and fibers from the cloth and they get worse. Never succeeded to clean them properly which, in my opinion, is a big shame.

So, in conclusion that controller could have been a great product if
the designers have chosen the materials more carefully.

Good for Cubase
Torbjorn 01.08.2013
The deep Cubase integration is clever. Most of the regular functions in Cubase, bundled VST:s can be controlled by knobs (faders too, but I'm not too keen on non-moving faders). Many (over 250) 3rd party VST:s are supported, and it's possible to do some controller mapping on your own.

The moving fader is more helpful than can be imagined at first.

The keyboard feel is quite ok for me.

But:
You need to spend some time to learn a new workflow in order to make full use of it. And I have found that even after learning, I don't tend to use the clever things very much.

Loads of features and deep integration

If you're looking for a MIDI controller that allows you to control and assign parameters to physical knobs, the Panorama series is a solid contender. My only gripe is that the rubber coating on the knobs turned sticky in the tropical climate where I live.
