Firstly , I'm a loyal thomann customer since 2003, with nearly 80 orders placed, but I'm somewhat annoyed !
I ordered 7 of these items on the phone , sales representative assured me more than 7 in stock , this was key to me placing the order as I explained to the sales representative as I needed the order to be proceeds on the same day as the monetary exchange was becoming less favourable , great !
checked back online on the order status the following day , it still had not been processed. I called the sales team who informed me they by now did not have sufficient quantity in stock to fulfil my order,
conversation followed about the blame for this oversight being due to stock levels system or something or another , excuses ! it's really not my job to understand your stock systems thomann !
anyway , no big problem I though just a time delay to my order being dispatched, but the fact the by now the exchange rate had indeed become less favourable by the following day by around 5% ! thomann would not honour the original price.
appreciate Thomann cant control exchange rates but they should be able to inform their customers accurately , and accept responsibility for not ensuring this.
