Very satisfied
On the ergonomic level it really takes up space on the pedalboard with its very wide base (but what stability !!), do not look for miniaturization. It inspires confidence with its carapace worthy of an assault tank. It seems indestructible.
It is very pleasant under the foot with a fairly long stroke which brings a good precision when trying to find the right frequency. Reverse of the medal: the effect "wah" seems a little rainy soft.
For the sound, I found it a little (even very) low in the bass compared to the cry baby, but pushing the volume knob beyond 3h, it's much better, I even find that ' Is very comparable.
In short, for a very reasonable price, here is a good wah that will not leave my pedalboard soon!

More "WouhWouh" than "WahWah"

Merlin K., 12.07.2015
Here is my (preliminary) rating for the Morley M2 Wah.
I bought the M2 Wah as the first WahWah.
Thanks for the thomann-typical service!

Full of anticipation, I unpacked my new toy and was amazed at the weight! Quality has its weight ;-)
Processing technically I have nothing wrong. The M2 works in high quality and stable. You can rest assured, what should be the "stiffness" of the Wah or Wouhs so should be!
Only criticism: Meanwhile, Morley (as far as I am informed properly) also on Poti technology in the Wah. I guess the two nylon threads under the pedal to serve this serve. They are hardly seen, but they are very fragile. Whether this will have a negative impact on effectboard cable battles (damage or similar) will be shown.

What we would do with the service:
It is, of course, subjectively seen, a little harder to step than the competition product from the house of Dunlop, which I do not as a disadvantage, because you can dose it so very precisely, but is of course taste.
In addition, I find it well solved to place the "on / off" switch next to the pedal and not under the pedal. So you have the feeling to have better control over it.
Also the level control to control the intensity / volume of the wah effect is helpful. So you can use it discreetly in clean parts, but also full board in the gain channel ball!

This would lead to the transition to the sound.
As the title suggests, it is more like a "WouhWouh" than a "WahWah". That characterizes the sound quite well, I think. Who the sound of the CryBaby or similar. , Is not entirely wrong, but will certainly hear the difference in the effect.
It is also nice that the Wah / Wouh itself before a high-tread tread not muffig, but the sound character unchanged durchgeben!

Conclusion:
I will definitely keep the Morley M2-Wah and use it. For me it has everything it needs and can be used well / dose. Although it is slightly larger than comparable wahs, it also has the remaining controls (on / off, level) next to the pedal.

It would be fair to say that the development of the wah-wah pedal has been somewhat experimental over the years.
