great for running mics into guitar FX on the cheap

use it in the studio for running mics into guitar pedals, without the need for reampers or the like - it's quick and dirty, but solves most impedance issues. sound is better, and louder. even though it's a bit bulky for what it is, these things are must haves.

I use a small 2 channel acoustic amp as a mini PA on occasions and take 2 mics for an acoustic sound or 1 mic and plug the guitar in. When I use 2 mics the impedance doesn't match on that channel so this just fixes the problem in one fell swoop. No extra noise or leads, just plug it into the 1/4" input on the amp and plug my mic into the adapter and Bob's your uncle. really pleased with this unit, just sits in the case/bag till I need it. Well worth the investment.

A quoi sert cette chose me direz-vous ? A plein, plein d'utilisations...
- En premier lieu, si vous devez jouer sur scène avec votre guitare électro acoustique ou électrique et que le sonorisateur a oublié, ou n'a pas, de boîte de direct : en voilà une ! Directement branchée sur la sortie de votre guitare ! Le sélecteur permet de choisir si votre instrument est de basse impédance (synthé) ou haute impédance (guitare électrique, électroacoustique).
- Si vous avez un problème de boucle de masse sur votre instrument (guitare, synthé, ou même micro !) il suffit de le brancher toujours à la sortie de votre instrument et magie, les parasites sont partis !
- Malgré tout votre branchement qui a l'air correct, votre instrument ou votre micro délivre toujours un signal trop faible à votre goût ? Branchez-le, il vous sauvera sûrement la vie.
Avec toujours, une bonne restitution du son sans trop le colorer (je déplore malgré tout une très légère baisse d'aigus, mais ça reste correct).
Vous pouvez lui ajouter un adaptateur selon vos besoins (jacks ou XLR, mâle, femelle...) il accepte tout. Attention cependant, le côté XLR du Monacor doit toujours être orienté vers votre instrument, et son jack, vers la table de mix, la sono...
Un petit bidule bien agréable, le savoir avec moi dans mon matériel, en home studio comme en live, m'apaise quant aux problèmes d'impédance ou de masse possibles. Je sais qu'avec lui, tout ira bien !
