Clamps & Fits!!!
Anonymous 16.10.2016
Once I saw this multi-clamp from Thomann I knew I had to get it! I've been trying to limit my cymbal stands to make it easier for transportations to gigs and this is a great buy!

I've had it on my boom stand and having attached my 12" rack tom to it, it's done the job perfectly!! It's sturdy and won't rotate if tightens rightly! Can be attached/placed in various positions and I like the fact that I can now attach my boom arm to my hi-hat stand and have my 6" splash cymbal on it!!

If you're one of those drummers who doesn't like setting/carrying tonnes of cymbals/tom stands around then this Piece of kit is a must-have!!

I'm really chuffed I bought it and looking to buy more in future so I can have lesser drum stands and makes it easier setting up for live gigs!

Cheers Thomann

Does the job - but not flashy
Brandon P. 14.11.2013
This multi-clamp holds perfectly well, and for the price, it's a great piece of kit.

However, it's definitely not comparable in quality to the more expensive clamps -- "hardware store"-style wingnuts instead of the "cymbal stand" large wingnuts you'll find on pricier gear, lower-quality carriage bolts (mine had 2 poorly tapped threads that I needed to de-burr to use the clamp), and generally "cheaper" feeling -- it's "airy" pot metal, with some rough casting edges. Does the job perfectly well, and with a minimal bit of effort / TLC, you can have a perfectly fine clamp. At the price, you can get three of these for one of the "big name" clamps, so even if it lasts half as long as a more expensive clamp, you end up ahead of the game!

Nice Clamp

I have owned these clamps before from other makers, they are all the same and do the job just as well. Nice construction, the wingnuts on this Millenium version are a bit lightweight but are easily replaced for heavier duty ones. Great for clamping cymbal arms to a stand.

Sturdy and reliable
Anonymous 31.12.2016
Bought two of these clamps based on reviews that they are durable and do the job.

Operation is straightforward. Loosen two screws, slot it through the rod of your cymbal stand, then loosen the other two screws and slot in the other rod.

In my case, I use these to mount rather light weight (less than 1 kg), drum modules. The drum modules themselves had to be mounted on rods, which are specific to the drum modules.

Do beware that the rods need to be of a certain thickness, otherwise when they go through the clamp, they will be loose and not grip well. This happened with one of my thin rods which was holding up my 2box drum module. Because the rod was too thin for the clamp, it a bit wobbly but it still holds up.

This is a simple piece of equipment yet does what it is meant to do. I would definitely consider ordering again, if I need to mount more items on my cymbal stands.
