A bit rickety, but useable
RipChord 21.11.2020
Compared to the premium brand this one is rickety and has some flaws in the engineering.
1) The neck yokes (the upper part from which the instrument hangs) don't lock in place and fold away when you lift them up - unfortunately you have to lift up to retrieve your instrument so this means they fold down everytime you pick up your guitar.
2) The bottom padded arms fold up but there is no mechanism that holds them in that position which makes transporting this thing a real pain. It's constantly unfolding and the T bars are especially adept at tangling with everything in your load out.
3) The place where the instruments hand aren't aligned with the legs. This means that the weight of the instruments aren't directly over the legs which increases the instability and with three instruments hanging off this thing you could have a fair amount of money at risk.

SUMMARY: On stage I want to switch out instruments quickly and smoothly. This stand slows that process down as I have to be careful not to destabilise it or fold away parts of it involuntarily. This takes my mind of of my performance and puts it into hardware management. Now that I know, I would have spent the extra on the better system.

B
Perfect stand
BV-EL 10.03.2020
It is exactly what I was looking for! This stand is very robust and secure. Well balanced even with only 2 instruments placed instead of three. Cheap for what it provides.
Very practical since you can keep your instruments hanging without the need of a stand mounted on the wall.
Pay attention with the though when you use it with a guitar which has not a symmetrical headstock (like a Jackson or an Explorer model).

What I needed.
Anonymous 21.11.2014
I have a 5 rack guitar stand, and having acquired a few more needed either a 8 guitar stand or a 3 guitar stand. These stands are excellent, they save space and don't have to be propped up against a wall. This is one of the cheaper ones on Thomann, however I cannot fault the actual quality of the product.

Setting up the stand was easy, quality is good. The only thing that would make this product better is the base being heavier. I have 3 guitars on this stand, a Charvel, a Fender Telecaster and a PRS 7 string.

The neck on the 7 string is too thick for it sit perfectly, so I have it at a slight angle however it appears to be fine.

The Charvel is a very light guitar and sits perfectly on the stand.

The Telecaster is extremely heavy, and if I remove the other 2 guitars from the stand the whole unit becomes unbalanced and probably wouldn't take much to tip it over.

Top quality

has all my guitars on with no problem. Highly recommended. Has a locking mechanism that keeps the guitar on and elevated from the ground. The height is adjustable so you can use different types and sizes guitars even acoustic
