Great quality
maciek00, 16.04.2021
Good quality. Holds guitar pretty well, but could be improved.

Protective material on the bottom is ok, but there is no protective material at the top, so I had to glue fleece to protect back of my guitar's body

I use it with Yamaha Pacifica, Fender Stratocaster and Harley Benton double cut (SG style) guitar and it holds each of them well. Definitely wouldn't be good for acoustic guitar.

Comparing to more expensive (£20) stand that I use:
* it's lighter (so easier to accidentally fall)
* it's a little bit less stable.
* there's no protective material on upper part - needed to glue fleece to protect back of my guitar
* it doesn't hold acoustic guitar (which for me is actually better, as it's more slim)

Happy to use it, but more expensive stands are noticeably better. Although for £5 I wouldn't expect more. It's actually better than one of my £15 stands

Also instruction says that it can react with floor and leave marks that can't be removed and suggests to glue furniture fleece - imo not a big deal

Holds the BASS successfully
Ms. Bright, 19.12.2020
Even though it is not mentioned, It's also suitable for the electric bass...
A very sturdy, well made and minimal stand that is really invisible (display-wise) but mainly you will not find your instrument on the floor with no reason! A real VFM here!
Tip for those who wonder: The "Millenium" logo is on a sticker that can be easily come off.
U-shape measurements: max width: 10cm and height: ~ 6cm

Good but nothing special
Timieck, 09.05.2021
It does what it's supposed to.

The protective material on the bottom is nice and it would be nice to have it on the top as well since it's pretty much just plastic against wood at the moment. I can probably fix it myself by gluing on some felt/foam/fabric but It should really be included.

Feels stable enough most of the time though I have had some scares where it feels like it's going to tip over or on the side.

All in all it's insane for it's price and the build is great so if you're on a budget or just need an extra stand for your practice space I would recommend it :)

Not for offsets
A. j M., 23.04.2019
It’s alright quality in general I guess, and I think that you would have an issue with acoustics or even lighter electric guitars.

However, the offset body and weight of my Fender Jaguar was apparently too much for this little piece of gear. After a couple months, it started to be very wobbly, as if both legs were moving away from each other every time I laid the guitar on them.

Over a month after that, it simply broke completely - I once laid the guitar and both legs just separated. The little plastic bit on the top (where the back of the body rests) just disintegrated into bits somehow, leaving hidden screws to dent the laquer on the back of the Jag’. Not cool.

All in all, if you buy something cheap, I guess you can’t complain when it breaks on you. I ended up throwing this one out and putting a little more money to buy one of the Hercules stands (guitars hang by the neck on them, so no problem for offsets) as I would rather invest a little more buck to avoid having to pay for paint jobs on a 1.2k€ guitar.

Though I’m sure if you’ll be using it for acoustics or very light guitars that you don’t pick up too often, it’ll be just perfect.

Very nice stand
12.08.2015
I bought this stand to use it at home, so I do not have to put my guitar away in its case everytime I stop playing. The Millenium GS-2001 E is a very good stand for its price. It is very well made, nice building quality, it is strong and sturdy, seems to be very durable. It sits well on the floor, it does not move or shake, it is very stable. The parts that are in touch with the guitar are protected with rubber and it does not damage the guitar in any way. It also has rubber feet and it didnt scratch or stain the floor. The guitar does not fall and feels secure. I am using a superstrat shaped guitar and it fits perfectly on the stand. It seems to be good for stage use aswell.

Best stand in its price range, would highly recommend to everyone else. I am very happy with this purchase.

I like the looks and level of protection for my les paul. And my pretty standard acoustic quitar doesnt fit onto this stand, so i plan to buy classic quitar stand from Millenium also.

A good inexpensive guitar stand. Electric guitars and bass are stable. The stand is assembled with high quality, nothing staggers, in the places of contact with the guitar there are rubber pads. The size is small, perhaps not suitable for large bass.

Unbeatable for the price
Sparky86, 22.02.2021
Great quality little guitar/bass stand. For the cost, you can't ask for more but despite the low cost, it really performs! Can support standard electric guitars and electric basses. For an acoustic guitar or electro-acoustic guitar, there is another model with a wider base for the instrument available. Note: May stain/scuff/lightly scratch the back of the instrument. If you wish to preserve your finish use a microfiber cloth between the guitar/bass and the stand (on the top plastic part). Other than that I really can't complain!

Very high quality for the price - Recommended
Charistkt, 12.02.2020
I use this stand for my Jackson electric guitar. It is very stable and the guitar rests very nicely. Also, you don't have to remove the cable to place the guitar on the stand, which is not the case for some similar guitar stands. Well at least, for Jackson ST style guitars. Only possible downside is that there is a warning note inside the package saying that the plastic parts touching the floor may react with laminate floor and cause markings, after some time. Well, I did have the stand on a laminate floor for 2-3 months, because you only live once, and nothing happened. Can't recommend enough, keep rocking or jazzing or whatever.

It does what it says on the tin
LargeBakedPotato, 15.04.2021
Simple little stand, works pretty fine. Using it for my bass and it's stable, doesn't tip over and holds the instrument up nicely. Great deal considering the price. Only part I could really nitpick is the metal hinge which is quite stiff and a tad ugly but nothing major

really great product
DermotfromDublin, 09.04.2021
first time using a guitar stand like this and all I can say is that one year on it is still going strong and is really a great product. Very stable and holds guitar better than other more expensive stands. It'[s quite a wide base but it folds up when not in use so not an issue.

You can't go wrong
fjomatias, 11.08.2020
Standard piece to securely display your guitar wherever you want to put it. Probably not recommended for guitars with nitrocellulose finishes because the rubber pads are synthetic but that is a whole other story. If you are like me and happen to have a guitar finished in Nitrocellulose, just use a few organic cotton towels on the points of contact and you will be fine!

My experience
Tambet, 29.12.2020
Ordered it with my first guitar to proudly display it next to my bed :)

It is sturdy and stable, except for the rubberized piece which supports the upper body of the guitar - it has only thin layer of plastic underneath.

Mine got likely damaged during transportation - outside packaging was fine, but it was in a big box with several other items and probably had some room to rattle around, finally breaking the piece off. So do be careful how you handle it - it has sturdy legs and potential to last quite a while. And it is amazing value.

However Thomann was amazing about it and helped me out with this problem.

EDIT: Turns out they sent me RockStand instead of Millenium the first time. Got replacement and it is just fine and much better construction and quality. So stay away from RockStand :)

the cheap option
jackal1977, 19.05.2017
I thought I was going for the cheap option. I can't complain. It does not look cheap. It does not feel cheap. Very sturdy to hold my bass. for the soft pads on the arms-brackets I don't expect them to last forever. I guess simple school physics and street wisdom is enough to understand that friction and time will force you to change the pads. Easy job, DIY shop, tube padding. Remove the plastic tip slide out the old, slide in the new, put back the plastic tip. Some shops have different colours. You pick. I got yellow for the next change (I guess yellow is used for gas pipes).

Does its job. Could have better quality.
TipoC, 25.04.2020
It does its job. I don't like that where goes the top of the body of the guitar it's a hard plastic. Should be soft.

Nice and robust. Like it says for guitars and eventually short scale basses, but for full length basses not recommended.

Mostly fine
DaweedP, 31.01.2021
The stand works mostly fine, but where it bugs me is that one of the holding pegs almost exactly overlaps with the cable hole of my jackson dinky js11 so I cannot leave it plugged in unless I want it to sit kind of crooked on the stand.
