Nice mallets for a good price. (Very hard, gets worn down quite quick.)

I used these Balters for some intense and loud playing, and they got worn down quite quickly. But I still went back and got a new set, because I like the sound and feel for soft articulated passages, orchestra/band playing when you realy have to cut threw or contemporary ensemble/solo. The mallets have some of that "Something hard hits metal" sound , you hear the core if you play loud. All in all, nice and affordable mallets! Not for all round use.

Die Schlegel weisen die typisch gute Mike Balter - Qualität auf. Ich verwende sie vor allem im Orchester, wenn das Vibraphon bei sehr lauten Passagen trotzdem gegen die anderen Instrumentalisten durchkommen soll. Für Solostücke eher weniger geeignet, da der Anschlag sehr hart und "metallen" klingt. Falls dieser Sound gewünscht ist (z.B. bei bestimmter zeitgenössischer Literatur), dann können die Schlegel natürlich auch gut solistisch eingesetzt werden.

Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Die Schlägel wurden für den Einsatz im sinfonischen Blasorchester gekauft.
Trotz Einsatz des Pedals kommen einzelne "Anschläge" am Vibraphon dank des harten Kopfes noch gut zur Geltung.

Ich persönlich bevorzuge Schlägel mit Rattanstiel und habe deswegen diese Schlägel denen mit Birkenstiel vorgezogen. Auch hier bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Insgesamt erfüllen die Schlägel alle Erwartungen, die ich hatte.
