Ich habe mir die Schlägel vorwiegend als Übeschlägel bestellt, um die Nerven meiner Nachbarn nicht zu sehr zu strapazieren, aber trotzdem nicht zu weit von dem Klang meiner "regulären" Schlägel entfernt zu sein.
Diese Aufgabe erfüllen die Schlägel zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit.
Durch den mittelharten Kopf ist der Klang für das Üben zuhause ideal, da er weniger durchdringend ist.

Wenn man Glück hat, erwischt man direkt ein paar Rattanstiele, die auch im Paar zusammen passen ;-)

Für den Preis gibt es für mich absolut nichts zu meckern.

Im Orchester kamen die Schlägel bisher noch nicht zum Einsatz. Ich könnte sie mir aber gut für leise, zurückhaltende Stellen vorstellen. Hier macht man sich mit diesen Schlägeln das Leben sicher leichter.

Zuerst das Positive:

Der Schläger ist super zum Üben auf dem Xylophon, erzeugt einen angenehmen Klang, der gut ohne Gehörschutz zu ertragen ist und liegt gut in der Hand.

Nun das Negative:

Nach nicht einmal 2-wöchiger Benutzung löste sich der eine Schlägerkopf vom Stiel, da der Kleber offensichtlich nicht mehr halten wollte. Umtauschen ging nicht, da es sich um ein Verschleißprodukt handelt, daher musste ich den Stock selbst kleben.
Habe dafür UHU PLUS ENDFEST 300 benutzt, hat super funktioniert und der Schläger ist nach fast 2 Monaten immer noch dran.

Wie ich erfahren habe ist das kein Einzelfall, einige meiner Kollegen haben mit den Balter-Schlägern dieser Reihe bereits ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht.


Fazit:

An sich ein guter Schläger fürs Üben am Xylophon ohne lästigen Gehörschutz, man sollte aber von vornherein eine Tube UHU zum Kaufpreis dazurechnen.
