Sturdy, heavy and solid construction.

I was expecting this to be a great chair, a chair id sit on for hours while practicing/recording and not get tired.. after all its not cheap chair.

Its solid, well made and sits well planted on the floor. Its somewhat portable, has wheels and folds up. Pretty heavy. So ill never carry it around for a gig or jam. Its not very comfortable for extended periods of time. After 15 to 30 mins, i need to stand up for a bit. They should have used more comfortable foam for the chair. Backrest isnt the best fit either. The foot rest is harsh when barefoot. The plastic edges and moulded grip design digs into my feet over time. Have to wear slippers or shoes. So overall, i was a bit dissapointed. I do use it often though, just not for very long.

From a certain age (45) the complaints slowly begin. Professionally, I have to sit a lot. As an acoustic enthusiast, I still play several hours a week while sitting. That was not always good in the past. After I had tried the different seating possibilities for months, the Mey Chair Systems AF-SR-XXL-KL4-AH stood in a shop. Looked fat and chunky at first sight. But when I sat on it I did not want to get up again! Everything fit. At Thomann I ordered the chair then. Ruckzuck was the good part. Unpacked, simply assembled and adjusted. Finished. After a lot of practice hours later I can say 100% that the high price is fully justified. Comfortable without end. Even for television I use the good piece more frequently now.

The only downside: the seat is collapsible, but only really, if the seat support is removed separately. But well, I can live with it. As an ideal supplement I had bought me the Mey Chair System EFS-93 Footrest.

Also here I can only say, bought and I never give more (looks only a bit clumsy).
