Have had this for a short while now and have used it for a show in a band. At 50W, it's easily capable of keeping up with a drummer, Live, I had the master at about 10 to. Tone wise, I use humbuckers. Clean channel has wonderful clarity and you can really dial in that American shimmer. "Lo" channel doesnt have a lot of gain but a good amount of crunch. Not a lot of bottom end, but it's a very even tone. "Hi" surprised me. Loads of gain on tap and tone curves you can create from thick vintage rock to full on heavy metal. Tight switches as you'd expect "tighten" the sound, but I feel it loses a bit of bottom end. The single vintage 30 works very well with this. You can really pile on the reverb if you wish, but in a band, I think you only need it at about 10 to to be tasteful. CabClone DI, regardless of the setting, as I sort of expected, isn't great. You'll get a much better sound with a decent mic in front. Unlike some other Mesa's, you don't get any send/return control with the FX loop, so when you activate it, don't expect any change in volume or abilities to blend. Solo button is very handy for that extra lift. I cant comment on the MIDI as I haven't used it. It's a lot of money, but it is an amazing sounding amp. One other thing, do not be alarmed by the long screw sticking out by the power valves, after speaking with Mesa, it's meant to be there!

Boogie as it? S best !!!
The TC comes in a rieiesigen carton, where it was protected top. Scope of delivery: Amp, protective sleeve, footswitch, clickable rollers. The processing is as usual with Mesa 1a. All available features are instinctively instantly transparent, which is a practiced Guitarman the reading of the manual actually spared. Tested so far mainly with a Gretsch electromatic Jet Pro: Cleancanal: glass-clear until crunched (with the small switch transposed somewhat more centrally and more crunch). In the second channel there is everything from the blues to the rockboard Everything the heart desires and the highgain channel sings as beautiful as it can be just a boogie with gain reserves to the turning away without losing the definition of the sound ... The built-in reverb Is super dosing and sounds very clean and pleasant. The switching of the effect (loop-in) makes your thing flawless and without misfits or crackers. For the speakersimulation, I can not say anything, the first test is that the amp reacts sensitively good / sensitive to the attack. Also, different guitars with the TC sound the way they should sound. Should be called Tele remains Tele or Paula remains Paula, no matter how the Channels adjusts !!! This is a difference to my predecessor amp (Marshall JVM 4510H), which I appreciate very much. Even my old Mesa Caliber 50+ of 1990 can not do that well. The foot switch is relatively compact, but it can be operated well without footsteps by foot. The Triple Crown costs a few euros more, than other 3 Channel 1x12er combo amps, but has mainly sound and conceptually many advantages to offer. Clear purchase recommendation
