This finger cymbals provide a short, high-pitched dissonant sound. The difference between this finger cymbals and the professionals ones from Meinl is that the tuning of the pieces are too far apart (which produces overtones that are too high in pitch). This doesn't take from the fact that these are great to add/create colors and textures.
