Meinl make amazing cymbals and this one is not the exception. versatile and beautifully sounded accents. provides a nice bright, yet dryish sound which mixes very well in fills for a different sound. great buy

Nice Splash

This is a nice splash cymbal with a great tone, nice character. I also have the 12 inch traditional splash and this one doesn't disappoint! They are both very musical and have the great quality sound and feel of all the Byzance Cymbals.

This is everything I expected from a normal traditional splash. After more recent purchases, the profile looks a little thinner, but the sound is just right, whether played loud or quiet, hard or gentle - it delivers.

Toller Sound - nur etwas schüchtern

Ein sehr heller, trockener, fast schon trashiger Sound. Könnte auch ein Mini Chinese sein. In ruhigen Songstellen für tolle Akzente wie geschaffen, kann es sich leider gegen den Rest der Band nicht durchsetzen. Andere Splashes sind da dominanter. Werde das Becken auf Grund des tollen Klangs aber weiterhin für die 'ruhigen Momente' verwenden. Das Material ist sehr dünn, spricht daher extrem schnell an, möchte aber auch sanft behandelt werden. Mit meinen 2B Sticks muss ich da ein wenig aufpassen. Für Drummer geeignet, die auch mal leise spielen und ihre Anschlagstärke gut beherrschen.
