Squeaky plastics but does the job well.
Artyom Donka 20.07.2021
For the price it is okay. And this gives you an opportunity to connect multiple expression pedals at low budget. I never tried to put my hole weight on it and I would not advice that, but it will survive some occasional abuse I guess. Had to re-solder jack over 5 year usage.

Pros:
* Cheap
* Reliable
* Lightweight
* Switch to change 'modes' actually helped me to get desired curve along with the adjusting wheel, that sets the lower limit.

Cons:
* Plastics, that, I think could brake if abused. (It did not yet though :))
* Straight jack and soldered-in wire. (Angled jack could be one's preference and detachable wire would allow to choose wire length and type.)

Feels light, but works great.
Alan796 24.04.2020
When this first arrived I thought it felt a bit flimsy, but I've had it a couple of years now and it's still going strong, no issues at all.

The action, is not quite as nice (in my opinion) as the Moog EP-3 pedal, but I'm not quite sure if I can describle how. It might be the weight of the action, or it might be the angle of the base, but that could just be personal preference.

It works absolutely fine, and has lasted the test of time (though I didn't use it very heavily and didn't gig with it).

I'm taking one star off just because of the slightly lighter/cheaper feel, but in terms of function and value, it's bang on.

cheap and reliable

Is the cheapest on the market, but still very reliable. Doesn't weigh too much, and does its job. But if you're looking for a very precise exp pedal, this is not the right one. Currently using it for controlling some parameters of my timeline, and I'm very much satisfied.

b
Good pedal
bobobsi 21.10.2020
This is, for the price range, a good pedal for midi expression. It is plastic, but feels sturdy and is smooth in control. May be less optimal and not sturdy enough for touring and performance in venue, but is a good option for home studio use.

J
Best for home studio
JeffT 16.06.2017
I've had this expression pedal for 2 months now. Having used it continuously over close to 60 days, it is still operational as if was back when it arrived at my door (and, once again, thomann does a great job with its delivery time), even though I feared that because of it being plastic and so cheap it could stop working it no time. It hasn't. I mainly use it to record at my home studio and pratice, but I have already used it in some shows as well, altough I wouldn't reccomend it because I do believe that it may one day die on me during a live concert. I use it on my reverb and pitch-shifter pedals and it works well, but it's advisable to treat it with caution

To summarise:

- Good expression pedal for a home studio
- Good as well for home pratice
- Not reliable enough for playing live and on the road, in my opinion
- You get what you pay for in such a cheap expression pedal. A pedal of this price tag isn't really meant to be played live and to be on the road in a long term
- Light enough to take on the road as a backup

Bon rapport qualité/prix
Thanorval 06.01.2023
La fabrication tout plastique et le câble non-amovible réservent cette pédale au studio.
Cependant, le switch d'inversion, la roulette de course et le prix très bas en font un bon outil.
Très bien si on sait à quoi s'attendre.

Nice relatively cheep alternative for other brands. Good for midi expression control. Have polarity switch. Could have input jack socket instead of permanent cable.

Works fine, range could be bigger
virpul 13.04.2019
Great value for the price. I am using it to control my Keith McMillen SoftStep 2 and it works as expected.

I wish the range was a bit bigger. It feels a bit cheap and plasticky (which it is), but the build quality is pretty decent and I'm not afraid to use it for gigs.

Fantastic

For a cheap expression pedal it works great, use it with a TC Electronics G-Major II and a IK Blueboard.

The cable is a bit flimsy, so I've replaced it with an output jack but all in all you just cant beat the price, Its much stronger than you would think and I've never had a problem with it.

Recommended!
