Lovely Martin D41 - what a beauty...
Richard5969, 29.01.2014
What a lovely Guitar, my life's ambition was always to have a Martin, I played around for many years with the idea of a HD35 but decided to push the boat out. This is the baby Brother of the D45 - and after much reading and debate - I decided to go for the cheaper model as I believed (rightly or wrongly) that the main or only difference between the two, was the increased amount of abalone trim that appears everywhere on the D45 - but selectively on the D41..

So.. the guitar arrived very quickly and after a good amount of mails and conversation with the Guitar dept, I became the happy owner of a new toy.. What I was not aware of, was that the martins leave the factory with a high setting on the action and it is incumbent upon the new owner ( or local shop if i had gone that way) to arrange for the action to be adjusted to suit.. Quick job from a local guy and I'm a happy chappie.

Martin D-41
Carl O., 24.09.2012
"Compact ... strong mids ... richly dimensioned low and high frequency bands" was how the D41 was described in the magazine Acoustic Guitar 3/12. And that's true. Since one does not buy an instrument in this price range every day, I had tested some comparison models. The D-41 convinced me with its brilliance and the heights shimmering through the game.

Highly recommended!
