Overall a very decent product

I had a chance to visit Thomann, and compared a few different in ear monitors. I concluded that for this price range, Mackie MP-240 is probably some of the best.

The sound is best described as simple and crispy, like a pair of good dual driver IEMs should sound. The package includes MANY different types of ear pieces, including foam pieces, to accomodate different types of ears. Surely not the most amazing pair of IEMs I've ever used but definitely cost effective.

I've gigged with these IEMs several times since, the longest gig being around 2 hours long. They aren't the most comfortable in ears, but they don't hurt my ears or jaws or give me a headache. The most important is that the seal is good (not perfect at times), and they don't fall out of my ears. Sweat doesn't seem to cause any trouble.

The build quality is solid, definitely no complaints here. The cable is interchangeable with Shure IEMs, which is a huge plus - I believe Shure has some of the most sturdy cables. Switching the ear pieces can be a gigantic pain as it is extremely difficult to get the rubber around the sound canal.

Almost love them
looo87 24.09.2019
I used them with my guitar, listening music and I love the sound
I would say the sound is flat. Nice balanced sound.
Build quality is amaizing, the only problem is the tips that are very hard to get on/off.
As for comfort -- I didnt really found the right tips for my ear ( I ordered some new tips - smaller and thinner - to see if those work for me). I guess this is the only real problem for me but if you get the right fit -- I would recommand them!!
I'm thinking of reshell them if I dont find the propper tips for me.
Worth every cent :)

Not to my liking because of the shape.
Sound quality was good, bit of a slight boost at 60hz altough not muddy/cloudy at all.
High ends were very nice and clear.
Great for rock, hiphop.
Not great for jazz or metal because of the small boost and the sharpness of the highends

In my case left one had manufacturing defects - the connecting pin takes off from time to time while me singing, casing the sound gone for a while.
