Now there's a few months since I have this drum set so I have tested all the features and I absolutely can tell that this drums set is amazing. One thing is to look a pictures but there's absolutely another thing to see this freakin' awesome 26'' bass drum. Paint job is just perfect and set on the stage just blinking and shining by the sparkles.

About sound:
Not much to tell, it is definitely by drummer individually, but I am more than satisfied. Actually it just can't be bad or smth, it is a pro drum set about very friendly price, principally there is not much more to talk about that.

And of course about quality:
Absolutely awesome! All metal parts are made by the best. As I got this set in pretty compact package (toms were inside in bass drum etc.), I checked this perfect wood finish. It is smooth and you can feel that it is worth.
My favorite detail is 14'' tom holder. There really you can see that details are not made by "fast hand" or smth. This circle type holder holds tom around the rim and there is not any hole in the tom. I love this way to avoid from redundant holes or other parts/ holders on toms and especially on bass drum.

Yeah, it has very impressive look and if you want to be seen in some drummer meeting, want to be extraordenary on the drummer's drum set grey background or whatever, this what you really need.

Viel Schlagzeug für´s Geld, aber mangelnde Qualitätskontrolle.

Wer sich dieser Set holt steht, wie ich, auf einen voluminösen Sound und wird hier vollends bedient. Das Finish der Kessel ist bezaubernd. Die Ahorn Kessel einfach klassisch. Alle Chromteile und Halterungen sind funktional und stabil - nix klappert.
Einzig das Qualitätsmanagement ist verbesserungsbedürftig:

- Beide Spannreifen des 18" Standtoms waren für den Müll, weil die Löcher für die Schrauben derart asymmetrisch gestanzt waren, dass bei einem der Löcher kein Spannschlüssel mehr über die Schraube passte, weil die Schlagkante zu nah am Loch war. Thomas hat mir kurzerhand 2 neue, hochwertige Spannreifen geschickt.

- Zwei der Kessel waren bereits mit Fellen bestückt und zeigten anders als die unbefellten Kessel grobe Pocken der Innenlackierung auch auf den Gratungen. Ich habe sie von einem befreundeten Schreiner weg polieren lassen. Es bleibt ein bitterer Beigeschmack, denn hätte ich die Felle drauf gelassen, wäre mir die schlechte Verarbeitung erst viel später aufgefallen. Hier unehrenhaftes Kalkül des Werks zu unterstellen liegt nicht fern.

Alles in allem bin ich letztendlich völlig zufrieden. Wer auf voluminösen Sound steht bekommt hier nicht nur einen soliden Klassiker, sondern auch eine sparkelnde Augenweide für die Bühne.

Je joue essentiellement chez moi dans une salle dédiée. C?est ma sixième batterie mais celle-ci est vraiment au top... elle est magnifique (sylver) elle a un son puissant c?est vraiment une Ludwig. Déjà au déballage c?est du plaisir vraiment sérieux! Bien qu?elle soit fabriquée avec du bois nord américain elle est assemblée à Taïwan mais si ce n?était pas écrit sur les jolis badges Centennial ce serait impossible a desceller. Petite info pour ceux qui auraient le doute, le support Tom est livré. Pour moi il n?y a pas de meilleur rapport qualité prix. Je la conseille fortement.

Spiele seit 4 Monaten das Ludwig Centennial Zep Set in Silver Sparkle. Das Set ist wunderschön lackiert ( nicht foliert ). Der Klang kommt dem Classic Maple sehr nahe. Die Bassdrum ist sehr druckvoll und voluminös. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Die Gratungen sind gut ausgeführt. Ein schönes Set mit einem sehr guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.
