solid working guitar

John2402, 25.05.2015
i've been using mine on the road for a couple of months.
it's a very playable guitar (i find it easy to switch between it and my old strat). locking machines maybe a little fiddly and the trem might be a bit tough on strings, but the pots and selectors are comfortable and it arrived well set up.
sound-wise:- the normal pickups are fine and some of the emulations and tunings are very useful, so there is a lot of tonal variety to work with. i have found it quite difficult to create specific emulations with the software, so i am still mostly using the factory presets and a couple of user patches, a lot more of my time will be needed to get familiar with that novel aspect.
i bought a second battery, as i found that a long session left the battery low, and 2 sessions in a day drained it completely (though it still works in "normal" mode when the battery's flat).
it's held up well so far, and i am very happy with it :)

Fine part

EdgarK, 11.12.2012
Much I do not need to write, since most was already said. The guitar is very well on the body. The neck is a little thick. Which is good for the sustain. Processing and playability without blame. The model partly large sport.

However, with one or the other I am not quite happy. There would be the jazzmodelle, which I still have not so under control. The strat and paula sounds are class. The interplay with the POD HD500 is again the icing on the cake. An input to the modeling of a magnetic TA (which are also great) and 2 sound via pan pedal are available. In addition, there is the possibility of pre-selection of the model on the POD, the blocking of the controls (volume / tone / toggle) in different combinations, the control of sound parameters by volume / tone control _und_ the programming of a mood in the POD (without the Guitar must switch).

Small example: blues G tuning at the modeling for the slide then panning to the MAGs for normal mood ... beautiful, new world! Finally, no 3 guitars to the gigs, but only one (the acoustics also at home!).

Although I have the brain zermattert, I find nothing to complain! In addition, the great Thomann service 30-day money back, as you have to test! But beware: addictive potential.

Supplement:
I had a little problems with the USB adapter of the guitar. Important for the guitar to be found via USB: Battery must be inserted and plug a plug into the guitar output for the electronics. The guitar gets via USB _keinen_ current!
