Lexicon MX200

Stereo Effect ProcessorThe new Lexicon MX200 multi-effects unit integrates two separate effects units in a 1U, 19 inch unit. Both effect blocks have their own controls for easy and fast editing. This makes the MX200 the ideal multi-effect processor in live applications.

A useful Lexicon-reverb for good value

Åke, 20.08.2013
This reverb may work best for instruments. Guitar is an example. The good thing is that it is really two pieces of reverb that can be attached before or after each other. Thus it is getting really long and protracted effects Shadows-type echo.

Another thing is that it's very easy to set up by each reverb has its own color in the form of red and green LEDs. Obviously there are lots of useful effects type flanger, chorus and more. Everything can be stored in their memories and easily picked up.

When it comes to vocal I think this reverb is well suited for live performance and as usual with the Lexicon, you will feel the quality by turning the knobs. A very good and useful reverbs in many different contexts and at a very good price.

Outstanding simplicity

20.06.2016
I have used many reverb or combined fx units over the years and always found Lexicon to sound the best.

There are other multi-fx units available (various Behringer products for example) offering more facilities at a comparatively better price, but if you want:-
- Great quality sound
- Simplicity and Ease of use
then this is the unit for you.

I use it for Amateur theatre (20-30 head mics), as well as performance vocals for solo artists. I don't really use it for guitars or other instruments benefitting from fx, but know others who do, and Lexicon is their Manufacturer of choice.

Adding a depth and richness to a strong vocal performance brings a real sense of satisfaction to a sound engineer.

Remember, reverb isn't just reverb. Fx units do not all sound the same or create the same sound.
I found the Thomann on-line fx mp3s to be really useful and definitely "true to life" in their reproduction.
