Perfect craftsmanship
Peter W. 443, 16.05.2013
Very happy with my new Lakewood. Delighted as usual with Thomann (delivered to my door in N Ireland 5 days after I made my order).

The quality is exceptional and the spruce top is beautiful. LR Baggs system is so easy to use. Sound without amplication is a little quiet due to size but still sounds nice and clear.

A Fingerpicker's Dream!
SynPhoCom, 02.04.2013

Der Kauf der Gitarre, wie immer bei Thomann, war ganz entspannt in angenehmer Umgebung mit kompetenter Beratung. Nach gemischten Erfahrungen mit anderen deutschen Gitarrenherstellern weiß ich jetzt, dass "Made in Germany" doch mit "Made in USA" oder "Made in Japan" qualitativ gut mithalten kann." data-mt-lang="en-x-mtfrom-de" data-translated="Congratulations to Martin Seeliger and his team from Lakewood! The M-32CP is still set as it was delivered, after 3 months of use. Everything was perfect, the workmanship, externally as well as inside the guitar, very clean, everything optimally adjusted. This is not always the case with high-quality guitars, but most of the time it has to be corrected. I have several of them, including Taylor 914ce, Larrivée OMV-10, Martin HD-28. All have their specific strengths, but the best all-round acoustic guitar is in my opinion the Lakewood. The body is slightly smaller than the comparable instruments, but the sound is strong and very clean from the lowest bass to the highest treble range, equal volume, equal tone color, no disturbing resonances and no "dead spots". I had thought Taylor could not be beat. Although by far not the most expensive in the round, the M-32CP is currently my undisputed favorite. The playability of the guitar is optimal for me, certainly also because of the pleasant (somewhat wider) neck. Also the factory built pickup system from LR Baggs Anthem is very good, for my taste even more pleasant than the Taylor Expression System or the Fishman Matrix Ellipse. Only one system can record it with the anthem, the AP-5 built in Maton guitars, which sounds very natural in my amplifiers and the upstream and downstream other devices.

The purchase of the guitar, as always with Thomann, was quite relaxed in a pleasant environment with competent advice.
