Ich spiele die La Bella RX-S6D Bass RWSS auf einem Sandberg Bullet Special 6, nachdem ich früher immer Elixir genommen habe. Ich wollte einfach mal andere Saiten ausprobieren. Und so sind sie auch: anders als die Elixir. Ich würde nicht sagen schlechter. Sie fassen sich anders an, haben ein anderes Schwingungsverhalten und klingen anders. Ich spiele über einen Gallien-Krueger RB1001 II mit RBX 4x10 und RBX 1x15, was für sich schon eine wunderbare Kombi ist: jeder Bass klingt darüber irgendwie gut. Aber so feine Unterschiede wie den zwischen Elixir und La Bella RX-S6D Bass RWSS hört man natürlich. Am ehesten würde ich sagen, dass es mit den La Bella RX-S6D Bass RWSS schwerer ist, im Split-Coil-Modus den typischen Fender-Jazz-Bass-Klang nachzumachen, was mit den Elixir kein Problem ist. Trotzdem finde ich die La Bella RX-S6D Bass RWSS griffig und drahtig, vielleicht am ehesten rockig. Es ist natürlich auch eine Preisfrage: Elixir Nanoweb Light = 62,90 und La Bella RX-S6D Bass RWSS = 27,50. Sie sind ganz sicher einen Versuch wert. Dass sie soviel billiger sind, bedeutet gar nichts.
