I had a Nord stage ex, great keyboard but didn't really like the synth. Korg sv1, awesome ....but no split, layer, only 8 favs and weak Lesley organ rotary. Korg, kross and krome......keybeds poor. Just received the Kurzweil artis 7. It looks smart, reasonably light, lovely screen, easy to set up and edit. Keys are very good for semi weighted, springy but a good feel. It sounds excellent. If I'm being honest, it hasn't blown me away but it really is growing on me. It's a great keyboard and another great deal from Thomann. Splits, layers, drawbars, tonnes of great effects. It really is a great all rounder. My only gripe....The drums aren't up to much.....hey ho, I can live with that. I would recommend this kurzweil.

The Artis 7 is a very good mobile stage piano

(With a plastic case), programmability, compatibility with previous workstations in studio quality that has been accustomed to short-term use, unobtrusive original design, high-quality options (bag with castors, foot switch extensions), apps etc., and above all, The unbeatable portability of this robustness (only 13 kg of weight). MINIMUM POINTS for the 'features' (but usually no 'dealbreaker' for musicians / band): No printed manual (only download of a manual), slightly weak preamplifier, depending on the PA, a DI box may also be recommended , No built-in speakers, no note holder. - KEYBOARD: I can only report positive to the half-weighted keyboard, but because of the very different preferences and requirements on the various discussions in music boards, the new Fatar 76er TP / 8 keyboard (weighted keys, dynamic bubble contacts) With the partly susceptible Fatar keyboards from 5-10 years ago. It had good reasons why the waterfall keyboard separated with 76 keys (Aftertouch), which was installed eg in the previous model PC3LE 7. So far, 3 professional and semi-professional pianists have played with us, depending on a judgment between good and very good. No one found them satisfying or even bad, and the resulting low overall weight is an invaluable advantage over the 88-key Artis keyboard, and the other brands in this class from Kawai MP7 to Yamaha CP4, etc.
