great quality violin holder
Sotiria 16.05.2013
This is better than other cheaper holders I have tried. The main difference being that this stand attachment point has a well-designed and good quality v-shaped plastic fitting which screws onto the stand. This makes the holder "grip" the circular tube of your stand with great strength but also protects the finish of your stand. The holder is covered with a black protective flock material to protect your violin neck and bow. Another great design feature is that the violin is held from the back of the neck-scroll attachment point on the rear of the violin, rather than from the pegs which I've seen on other stands.
There is also enough extension from your stand to accommodate the violin with a shoulder rest attached. Very well-designed and great quality stand.

Does the job good enough
Fiddleplayer 08.01.2022
Its ok and stable enough. The rubber that makes contact with the mic stand started slipping off after some months but it's not an issue. The violin slot is a perfect size and the bow hook has a small nut at the end to stop the bow sliding off accidentally. The quality is adequate for full time use.

No Brainer, just get one.

Right. I brought this for the fiddle player in our band.
He has a Yamaha silent violin for live gigs and this grips it perfectly.
It also keeps it off the ground where a more conventional stand would be, so this keeps it extra safe.
No cons for it, highly recommended.

Strong, quick and reliable
nicolanameless 16.06.2021
Feels very secure when you tighten the clamp to my music stand. The best solution when you need to put your violin somewhere temporarily and putting it back in it's case takes too long. Hard to imagine any where safer and easier than this device on music stand. Made of metal with a soft but durable coating. Easy to carry, quick to put in place.

Perfect, but the bow holder.
Anonymous 27.01.2022
The holder is mounted on a music stand and perfectly supports the violin. The bow hook is also nice, but taking the bow out of the hook always has a risk to break few hairs, therefore, extra care should be taken.

Easy access
JohanI 06.02.2014
I'm very lazy when it comes to pick up my instrument and rehearse. If it lays in it's case I many times choose not to play. Therefore a hanger like this is perfect. The instrument are always on display and I can easily pick it down a play whenever I want.

In the first place I looked for a hanger to be mounted on the wall so this one isn't the perfect choice for me but everything else about it is just great so with some modifications (I drilled away the attachment-bracket and screwed it to the wall) it can be used that way anyway.

Now my instrument is very accessible and get more playing time!

Does it work but could be better
Anonymous 08.04.2014
I am used to narrow space in the orchestra and bought this for storage of my violin when changing to other instruments. Well first the bow hanger is completely useless, its to small so as soon as you touch your bow it will fall of to the ground. The violin holder part does it job however, stability depends mainly on what archestral stand you mount it on. I have ordered another after testing out, even though the problems with the bow its better than nothing.

Innovative solution
Tom1870 17.12.2012
This is a solid violin holder to be fixed on a stable stand. Other than with its predecessors the violin does not hang on the pegs. The bow has its place too, but it should be hanged in with patience to prevent it from banging against the violin. Great small tool, dont wanna miss it.
