The wooden plate is not solid, it's laminate. It looks good now, but with just one accidental smack or bonk it's gonna be dented in an ugly way. Think IKEA furniture. Will not age gracefully.

Some of the screws used to secure the mounting slider plate (don't know what it's called, the female part that hooks/slides onto the tripod pole), are visibly scraped, alsmost all metallic instead of black, and screwed in at an odd angle so the heads don't line up with the plate they are securing.

For the premium price charged for this stand I expected more.

Apart from that, it does the job as it should. But you could get a much cheaper stand for that, or an actual wooden one.

beautiful but too shaky

this is a beautiful music stand (the walnut desk with chrome stand). and the little shelf is really good for putting my guitar support, tuner, metronome while i'm not playing.
but the stand is not so stable. K&M saying that it shouldn't be like what i'm describing, and thomann saying that it should be like that.
but i fixed it a little with paper and duck tape at the base of the stand and it is less shaky, so maybe i received a defective stand or maybe it's like that. (i never had a music stand that shake so much, not even the really cheap stands that i had, so the answer from thomann is a bit strange).
anyway after i fixed it i'm pretty happy with it.

Der Beste und Schönste

Nach einigen wackeligen Faltständern und den an sich guten Metallkameraden mit gelochter Platte war ein wohnzimmertaugliches Notenpult gefragt, das für die Ewigkeit gemacht ist. Genau dies bietet K&M mit dem hier abgeboteten Teil.
Der Ständer steht wie ne 1, wackelt keinen Millimeter und lässt sich leicht in Höhe und Neigung verstellen. Selbst unter Volllast bewegt sich bei gut angezogenen Schrauben gar nichts mehr. So soll es sein.
Die insgesamt penible Verarbeitung weist in meinem Einzelfall einen kleinen Schönheitsfehler auf, denn das Holz der Platte hat im Bereich der Kontermutter einen feinen Riss. Anscheinend war die Bohrung nicht groß genug, oder die Mutter wurde zu fest ins Holz geporkelt. Kein Grund zum Zurückschicken, eine Messerspitze dunkle Holzpaste löste das Problem in wenigen Minuten. Verarbeitung und Materialauswahl sind sonst jedenfalls auf höchstem Niveau. Dieser Notenständer wird auch noch in 50 Jahren zuverlässig seinen Dienst verrichten. Zwischen einfachen Notenständern und diesem Kunstwerk liegen nicht nur preislich Welten.
Die integrierte Ablage ist eine zuendegedachte Eigenschaft, die jedem Notenständer gut zu Gesicht stehen würde. Daher ist es unverständlich, dass der doppelte Boden nicht für alle Größen verfügbar ist. Apropos: Die maximale Höhe der Notenplatte ist für fast alle Anwendungen vollkommen ausreichend. Große Musikanten, die überwiegend im Stehen arbeiten wollen, nehmen aber besser den längeren K&M 118/4. Den gips zwar nicht mit am Pult integrierter Ablage, aber gute Ablagen zum an den Ständer schrauben aus dem K&M-Zubehör-Portfolio sind über Thomann leicht erhältlich.
Trotz aller Kritik: Das ist der beste Notenständer, den man zurzeit bekommen kann. Und er ist seinen Preis in vollem Umfang wert.

Este faristol es facil de plegar y montar y muy robusto, además es suficientemente amplio para dejar partituras. El espacio inferior es muy útil para dejar lápices, gomas, incluso un arco.
En el lugar de ensayo los montamos y desmontamos cada vez y realmente es facil. La parte de manera se saca facilmente por medio de una llave de fijación que permanece siempre con el pie y el resto como cualquier otro pie de micrófono.
