K&K Pure resonator - good on quality and value

My K&K is fitted to National M2. I play a lot of bar room gigs so using a Mic isn't an option. The K&K gives a good clean sound and no feedback problems. You can't ask for more really. It is best used with a Pre-amp.

Für verschiedene Gitarren und Gesang benutze ich seit ein paar Jahren einen Akkustik- Gitarrenverstärker von Acus. Die Resonator- Gitarre, eine ca 20 Jahre alte chinesische Johnson JM - 996, soll nun auch am Verstärker eingesetzt werden.
Mein Einbau des K&K: Tonabnehmer wie in der Beschreibung auf den Biscuit geschraubt, die zu lange Schraube abgesägt (sind andere Biscuits dicker?), dann anders als in der Beschreibung - zwei Löcher gebohrt und das Kabel nach innen und dann die Buchse in die Zarge eingesetzt. Alles nötige Material ist dabei.

Zum Klang:
Unverstärkt keine Änderung, kein Schnarren, Rasseln o.ä.

Am Acus Verstärker dann die volle Überraschung: Schon ganz ohne Vorverstärker oder Effekte, Höhen- Mitten- und Bassregler in Mittelstellung, Gain- Regler auf Mittelstellung: Wunderbar neutral, Voll, Warm, Natürlich. Verschiedene Anschlags- und Spielweisen werden sehr gut abgebildet.
Effekte und/oder Vorverstärker:
Verschiedene Konfigurationen mit Effekten oder Vorverstärker wirken sich deutlich aus und lassen sich sehr fein auf einen Sweet Spot einstellen.
Fazit: Suchtgefahr. Der Klang ist sowohl clean, als auch mit allerlei wohldosierten Effekten, einfach umwerfend. Der K&K Pure Resonator BB ist jeden Cent wert.
