Kemper Profiling Amp PowerRack Set

Kemper Profiling Amplifier Power Rack + Remote Control

Kemper Profiling technology allows the creation of a very precise tonal image (profile) of an existing amplifier configuration (including speaker & miking). Thanks to the many internal editing options, such as: diverse effects unit emulations (up to 4 simultaneously), master effects, EQ, gain, amp definition, power sagging etc., you can edit the sound created far beyond the capabilities of the original amplifier. The Kemper Profiling Amplifier comes with an already large number of outstanding amplifier profiles, which is why the creation of individual ones is not mandatory. Thus it is now possible to map the sound of your own amplifier accurately, and if desired, to modify and have available to practice in the studio or on stage without a lot of lugging about.

The egg-laying wool milk

04.11.2016
Is it the egg laying wool milk? For me, especially, if one has to cover different musical directions.

DIFFERENCE TO TUBES:
A difference to rärenamps probably only notice the ones who grow the grass. Many of my music colleagues-especially the guitarists-are important here (serious guitarists with a lot of live experience even on larger gigs in front of several thousand people) do not notice any difference and are enthusiastic. One of them got the thing right. I have to notice, however, that the quality (if you connect the Kemper live to a Moni - independent of PA) of the Moni-Box is already important. This can sound cruel if it does not fit!

And also regarding the pressure on the stage (use a 2x12 ENGL-Box) I can not recognize any difference to my JVM410 with 2x12.

SOUND:
As I said: I do not recognize in comparison to the originalamps. But you have to try and select the guitar boxes or monitor boxes already try and test. This may sound very different. It is easier to go directly into the PA and let the sound on the stage mon.

IN THE STUDIO:
Our man in the recording studio gave the device. I personally do not know me at all. He only meant that this was the "Holy Grail" for guitar recording in the studio. Alone the manifold possibilities of connection made him tear in the eyes.

SERVICE:
The Kemper is easy to use, yes. But only once you get through. I find that you have to deal with it very intensively at the beginning, precisely because it has so incredibly many functions and combination possibilities. Surely I have not yet captured all possibilities. I recommend the tutorials and the Kemper workshop on Youtube.
Great I think that one can make a backup via USB stick at any time. Nothing can be lost. Or you can get a rig of a buddy. USB stick and already has a new rig.

CONCLUSION:
For people who like to craft and create the sound over floor-mates - there are many, for which just the fun and the challenge is, the Kemper is probably nothing.

From me an absolute RECOMMENDATION for everyone else!
You have to remember, you have hundreds of different !! Amps !! In one device. How or where can I get a Marshall, Vox, Mesa Boogie and Orange-Amp simultaneously on stage?
After a familiarization time easy to use, incredibly versatile, in the studio the non-plus ultra and finally hammer amps / sounds / rigs for ALL musical directions. Sure, if I were only playing rock or blues now, an amp would be enough. But as soon as you have to cover more: Eierlegende Wollmilchsau!

When you log on to Kemper, you have access to additional free rigs in addition to the rigs stored on the device.

Price is for what the device can do, absolutely in order. Only the remote controller I find totally overpriced.

Front away, I am completely excited by the KPA. But you should take a lot of time to get to know the device. The setting possibilities are immense, but you have found "his" sounds and the KPA parameterized so that you can change them quickly via the remote control, you play relatively relaxed at the gig. With the large display on the control you have everything essential in the field of view.

The KPA is actually a computer that produces a great guitar sound. In combination with the remote control, it is also ideally suited for stage use, but you should not be afraid of computers and modern technology, otherwise there might be a risk of being overwhelmed.
