Top quality at a great price!

Having researched bucket mutes online and considering the different brands available I decided to go for this one. I already have a clip-on bucket mute for my Flugelhorn and although the sound is good it is not that easy to get on and off. This was one reason to go for this push-in type for my trumpet.

I've had it a while now and so far I'd say it's excellent quality and looks great. The sound is fantastic. Really nice timbre and tone colours which are completely different to any other mutes. Compared with the other type available (clip-on) I much prefer this one.

Other band members were immediately impressed when I took it to rehearsal and liked the sound I produced with it.

In conclusion, I'm really really pleased I bought it.

Simple use, good sound

Easy to use as the damper is pushed into the sound cup like a straight mute. Also the sound is satisfactory.
Due to the aluminum (filled with soft material) and this form, the sound is not necessarily as characteristic as the bucket mute of Humes & Berg, which is made of volcanic fibers (also stuffed with fabric) and - more complicatedly - clipped to the sound cup.
