Simple, but beautiful.

Ulv, 02.09.2015
This was my first Dinky-style guitar ever, which means i did not have any expectations for this product.
+ Very light body, and ultra-comfortable neck.
+ Excellent sound, no feedback at all. High quality hardware and electronics.
+ Is very simple, yet so good-looking.
- The 3-way-switch- system is kind of weird.
- The finish was already damaged at the time of unpacking.
- The bridge system feels very cheap.
Conclusion: This is a good guitar for beginners and professionals. I recommend.

An excellent guitar to start and to always use!

Leonhart, 05.10.2014
I asked this guitar for a friend who wants to start playing.
We looked at various options and this one was the chosen one.
After receiving it and trying it there was no disappointment.

Building:

The guitar is well built. The mast is well set and the frets well leveled.
The frets are rather thick Jumbo and will take a long time to wear out, which is another advantage of the guitar.
Returning to the fixation of the mast, it is bolted to the body and has a graphite reinforcement that helps it to be fixed more strongly without the body suffering for it.
The body is the classic Superstrat, with the recesses behind and one side of the front that make it very comfortable to play.
I have not weighed it, but it has an ideal weight, neither too heavy nor too light. According to Jackson's specifications the body is Tilo, so I expected it lighter, however it has given me another positive surprise.

Finish:

The finish is correct.
Glossy black on body and unpainted mast except for shovel.

Hardware:

The hardware in general is correct for a guitar of this range and even of more expensive ranges. I could even say that the pegs are more than okay.

Note: The strings of this guitar are to be changed just receive the guitar (like most), so I bought a set of strings just in case. The ones of this one have been changed by some Ernie Ball 0.10 and the improvement has been noticed.

Sound:

As for sound this guitar does not disappoint.
If we select the bridge pickup the sound is cane and blunt, sounds very well with the distortion.
The central position gives a bit more warmth to the sound without losing strength.
The pickup of the mast to be selected alone is what I found strange ... It does not sound wrong, on the contrary, it has a good sound, but I found it somewhat aggressive for a pickup from that position. However do not get confused, this is not a criticism, the sound is good.

Basically, I think it's a guitar that's clearly geared towards playing Metal, but by tossing the effects a bit or just playing with the potentiometers, it can be used to play any style.

I have tried the guitar on three different amplifiers, a Roland Micro Cube, a Behringer V-tone and a Randall RG-75 and it all sounds good. There is no typical thing to connect a guitar to a big amplifier and that sounds great and that connecting it to a small one sounds fatal. The sound of this guitar does not disappoint.
As an additional note I want to comment something that I have found a success in this guitar, and is that the tablets of this guitar are ceramic magnets, so they do not exert as much attraction on the strings, which gives us a greater sustain than what Would be expected on a guitar of this price.

General impression:

The impression I got from this guitar is very good.
It is very comfortable and has a good sound, besides a good construction.
As an important note I want to comment that I opened the back cover and the hole in the electronics leaves a lot of free space, enough to install all the active circuit of some EMG for example, battery included, without having to squeeze the parts. You could even drill another hole to install a second volume control.

It is not a guitar to learn with her and then sell it or leave it forgotten somewhere in the house ... It is a guitar to learn from her and one day improve it and continue to use it.
