Guitarists fingerstyle, finally a budget guitar that does not sacrifice anything quality.

PierreBa, 13.04.2017
First of all, it is a pure acoustic guitar, contrary to what is stated on the product sheet (phew, I did not want electronics and had seen it on the pictures).

I'm a fingerpicker guitarist, and I play regularly in open for 3 years now. After the death of my dreadnought Art & Lutherie (twisted handle after 14 years of good and loyal services), I discovered a Grand Concert model, which is apparently preferred by fingerpickers (see Stefan Grossman and others ..)

I had been able to test the Parlor model that a sneaky salesman had slipped into my hands (you should try this, it's nice for your style of play) and already the sound and comfort of the range had put me flea in the ear.

The vintage look is really beautiful, dark (wood color, mechanical look, false scratch on the soundboard and sides).

Manufacturing seems to me more than serious, with a top level of finishes. No trace of glue. Regular and efficient mechanics, solid. The guitar is incredibly light, I even a little scared to break it on the first uses.

On the level of comfort, I have big hands that were starting to seriously get tired of the dreadnought Art & Lutherie and my other model Parlor. Here, the neck is a highway that does not prevent the use of the thumb for bass. Thus, folk ragtimes and other blues are very pleasant to play.

Sound side, it is a real pleasure. The sound is bright, warm, balanced. But above all, the clarity is incredible. The sustain is really not bad, and made possible by a nut and a bridge both bone.

I am very satisfied. On the other hand, guitarists looking for an instrument constructed like a tank are likely to issue reservations. In short, nothing is worth a good test of the beast to have the net heart.

On the price-quality ratio in contrast, this guitar really positioned harshly in the top basket on budgets around 500¤. Essential ? At least unavoidable.

Pure nothing to complain ...

07.12.2016
I can only connect my predecessor in almost all points!
When unpacking, I thought to myself, quite a lot of money for weight so little guitar. This has not stopped for 5 minutes.
A fantastic guitar in every respect. No very thick bass, but an absolutely balanced, full sound. Wonderful processed, "unbeaglich" Aging, looks fast times quite cheap from so distressing ...
Cutaway I do not need, I seldom come beyond the 15th Covenant, and one reaches well.
I do not have a pickup. I have not found one that would sound better than one, two good mics in the studio.

The guitar finishes my very own long painful journey in search of the right acoustic guitar.
I only play open tunings, very many of them and mostly tuned.
I certainly had half a dozen acoustic in the last few years, hardly any of them got along with it and was sold again.
Epiphone John Lennon (Fender Mailbu Alkaline Trio), Fender Tim Armstrong Deluxe (nice look, fader 0815 sound), various Yamaha and other Ibanez in The price class of the AVC6 Vintage.

This Ibanez can withstand and maintain all tunings and even in the wildest moods plus capo-pods in all positions clean. Top mechanics !! The guitar was also optimally adjusted.

I am absolutely happy with it and have not had such a wonderful guitar in the past 15 years! My phase-insensitive GAS has finally come to an end with regard to acoustic guitars. I have nothing to complain about ...
