Natürlich darf man sich keine akustischen Wunder erwarten von einem Vorhang. Aber für die richtigen Einsatzgebiete ist dieser Vorhang ein gutes Produkt. Der dicke Kunststoffkern zwischen den Stoffschichten trägt ordentlich dazu bei, Schallausbreitungen zu minimieren.
Ich nutze den Vorhang, um einen Raum zu teilen und den Raumschall etwas zu minimieren. Das funktioniert bei mittellauten Signalen sehr gut. Der Vorhang ist somit ein guter Ersatz für Mic Screens.
Mit zwei Deckenstützen vom Baumarkt, zwei Manfrotto Super Clamps und einer Gardinenstange ist der Vorhang in kurzer Zeit flexibel einsetzbar. Alu-Gardinenstangen heben den schweren Vorhang zwar auch, werden aber leicht durchgebogen. Im Idealfall also lieber Gardinenstangen aus Stahl oder ähnliches nehmen!
