Tatsächlich ist der Ton dunkler – weniger obertonreich – als der Ton etwa etwa mit dem Carbon C. Der verstärkte Herzbereich dieses Blattes, also der Einschnitt und Übergang von der Wurzel in das schwingende Blatt, macht es aber auch steifer und erhöht den Blaswiderstand. Ich rate, im Zweifelsfall die weichere Form zu bestellen. Getestet habe ich es mit den Mundstücken Jody Jazz 7* und einem esm 7. Nebenbei: Die Hemp-Version von Fiberred bringt denselben dunklen Ton, ist aber weicher, dafür nicht ganz so stabil in den Höhen.
