Easy and cheap!
Tommy Vitaly 28.12.2019
I bought this midi foot controller for my Kemper.
I never had one before, so I was a little worried about connections and setup.
I had some issues at the very beginning because the user's manual (only in english and german) does not say anything at all about Kemper or other devices connections.
BUT I have to say about kemper, I have connected the midi cable to the MIDI IN on the Kemper, and everything has worked, even if the display on the controller says "JAMP"....Once you are in the performer mode on the kemper and you have your rigs in it, everything will be very easy.
If you want to set the KMPA on the display you will have to keep the button "C" pressed and then turn it on ( I write this, because NOWHERE it is written in the manual or online).
I made a video review here if interested:

The controller is quite heavy and solid.
The buttons work well, but they "sound" cheap when you press them.

The midi and usb cable provided in the box are no more than 2 meters long.
VERY GOOD CONTROLLER if you want to be cheap!

Very niche use case and may not be fit for your intended purpose
midi foot controller 24.02.2023
I wanted to use this with ableton to switch scenes, change amps and toggle pedals and this has been near impossible to configure.

Im using a mac and i find little videos online for mac set up

im also using bias and having chatted with their support reps, they basically said i would never get it working with their products (a vital menu option isnt showing for me as it doesnt recognise the product, so i cant use it)

there seem to be a lot of rave reviews here but i would really say; if your looking for something to do any of the above and its your first time using one of these, dont get lulled into buying this one. Its cheap but its a nightmare to use.

Also, theres no resale market for it ! I tried putting it on reverb and some local buy and sell apps and no one is interested (even if listed at 50 euro).

G
Limited functionality
Greetriman 25.02.2019
I was a bit disappointed with the functionality of the device. You can't do a lot of things in the CC domain. Only this:

- Option 1: Send value 127 when pressing
- Option 2: Toggle Send value 127 when pressing, Send 0 when pressing again, and so on

I really need the option to send a 0 (or whatever value) when I want to and to have the option to send 127 when pressed and 0 when released. This is unfortunately not possible with this device. So I had to return it.

Also for use with the HX Stomp: It doesn't support banks of 3 so that is a problem for the HXstomp & the usage of PC.

Not recommended if you need to use a Custom config live
b-electric 04.08.2022
I bought this to send CCs to Camelot Pro on a Macbook in a live setting via USB. It *sometimes* works. Almost always requires multiple re-starts because it freezes and becomes unresponsive. It's the pedal itself because it does this even with no software connected - the onboard footswitch lights don't even change and the display freezes. Others have noted similar issues so apparently it's not just me. Obviously this is unnecessary added stress in a live gig environment - looking at better alternatives now.
